Developing strength, mobility and coordination through movement and play.
Our Paediatric Physiotherapy team in South West Sydney provides skilled management and care for children with conditions including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophies, limb deficiencies, Down syndrome, and other genetic conditions. Our team has extensive knowledge of typical motor development, allowing them to identify the early signs when a child is not developing as expected and provide tailored therapy interventions to promote gross motor development.
At Boom Kids Clinic, our experienced Physiotherapists are committed to working closely with each family to set realistic, personalised goals. We understand that every child's daily routine is different, and we personalise our programs to fit seamlessly into these routines. Our approach ensures that the therapies we implement are effective in the short term and sustainable over the long term, guaranteeing continual progress and development for your child.

A referral isn't required to book an initial appointment, though your funding type (such as NDIS, Medicare or private health) may have its own requirements. Let us know your situation when you get in touch and we'll guide you through it.
There's no set age. We work with babies through to teenagers, and many families start as soon as a delay or difficulty is noticed, since earlier support often means better outcomes.
This depends entirely on your child's goals and needs. Some children benefit from weekly sessions, others from fortnightly visits or block/intensive programs. We'll recommend a plan after your first assessment.
We ask parents and carers to be very involved. That means helping set the goals for your child, being active in sessions rather than just observing, and practising with your child between appointments. The more involved you are, the better and faster the results tend to be.
Your therapist will give you practical, tailored strategies and a home program designed to fit into your family's everyday routine.
Our friendly team can help you understand how physiotherapy could support your child's goals, and get you booked in with the right therapist.
